Direct Fire Oxidizers

Safe operation is assured with our HAZ-OPS engineered line of direct-fired oxidizers. All systems are designed to meet CPI/HPI standards. PEI DFO's operate within a wide temperature window (1400°F up to 2000°F) and are ruggedly built to withstand frequent shutdowns with no adverse effects to the equipment.

Maximum destruction/removal efficiencies (99+%) are achievable with PEI DFO's for control of VOC (volatile organic compounds) and/or HAPs (hazardous air pollutants). Special designs are available for low CO and NOX requirements.

Applications include lean fume (below LEL- lower explosive limit), rich fume (above UEL - upper explosive limit), lean and rich fume; chlorinated; nitrogen-blanketed; oxygen deficient; extremely filthy; batch operation. Temperatures and air flows can vary; concentrations of combustibles can change. You have a lot of flexibility.

Recover available energy in DFO exhaust stacks to generate steam and / or heat for use in your plant. You get a quick payback for capital expenditures.

Treat the PEI DFO as a back-up unit if you already have a primary emissions control system and it is temporarily down or off-line. You have zero downtime and 100% production time.
