Concentrator systems are best suited to large volume, low temperature/VOC concentration applications. Systems utilizing either zeolite or carbon adsorbents, with capacities ranging from 5,000 scfm to over 100,000 scfm, are available with concentration ratios ranging from 5:1 to 3000:1. The systems feature fixed bed, rotary carousel and fluidized bed arrangements. Only PEI can offer the flexibility to custom design the system to meet specific application characteristics.

Concentrators coupled with an oxidizer offer lower operating and capital costs as compared to oxidizer only systems, while achieving comparable performance. Given the high VOC concentration ratios achieved, simple less expensive, less complicated Direct Fired Oxidizers can be economically employed while offering operating costs that are competitive with RTOs. Overall control efficiencies of 99% have been achieved.
