Pro–Environmental, in conjunction with Babcock Power Environmental, continues to provide innovative solutions in today’s ever-changing power generation market with the introduction of Regenerative Selective Catalytic Reduction (RSCR™) technology. This unique design combines the proven benefits of Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technologies. The result is a highly-efficient NOx (nitrogen oxides) control system designed especially for tail-end, low temperature applications.

This innovative product combines PEI’s expertise
with proven high thermal efficiency and heat-recovery technology in order to offer a more compact, efficient, cost effective modular product that is capable of greater than 80% NOx removal.

Renewable Energy Certificates
While local, state and federal agencies continue to evaluate and lower the emission levels allowed by new or existing industrial installations, adding a RSCR may assist you in qualifying for a particular state’s Renewable Energy Certificate program which will maximize the return on investment.

Since major components are modularized and installed at the tail-end of the existing plant’s gas stream, the system can often be operational within six months from order placement, with on-site construction and installation lasting only about 30 days. Start-up and commissioning of the RSCR can be as little as two to three days, thus making this an inexpensive, efficient, and easy to install pollution control device. Operation, maintenance and field services for the RSCR product line are also available.
